Dual Phaser

The Dual Phaser consists of two independent voltage controlled allpass filters. The configuration of the filters themselves I got from a design by Jorgen Belfors.

Features

• Two independent four pole allpass filters with CV, Variable CV, and Resonance
• Allpass Filters can be hooked in series or parallel
• Mixed output of both stages
• A single set of control voltages can be used to control both Phaser stages (COMMON mode) or each stage can be controlled on its own (INDEPENDENT mode)

Sound samples

• S/H with squarewave input, filters in parallel. Square LFO on stage 1, sweeping stage 2 manually.
• Saw input, filters in parallel, tri LFO in VAR CV1 and ADSR in VAR CV2. Mixed with a triangle wave externally.
• Formant sound. Reminds me of Jim Patchell's Vocal Filter. Saw in, filters in series, common mode with ADSR in VAR CV.
