Envelope Follower

Based on a design in Electronotes #88 by Denny Genovese, and Electronotes #89, by Bernie Hutchins.

• Line and mic inputs with adjustable gain
• LED overload indicator
• Triple fullwave rectifiers minimize ripple and response time
• Gate, trigger, envelope output
• CV output jack for future Pitch Extractor project

Status

PCB built and stuffed PCB tested and working Wired to front panel and tested!

This circuit needs some additional gain on the mic input, but lowering the input resistance will load the mic too much. An extra opamp with a gain of 10 on the mic input will do.
